Sharing Ideas on the Member Experience and Access Measure in Star Ratings

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) doubled star rating weights for member experience and access measures for contract year 2021. Consumer Assessment of Health Care Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys used to assess member experience with health plans in 2021 will account for 32% of the aggregate star ratings.

How will health plans work with their members to ensure their experience is positive? What impact will change related to COVID-19 and other benefit changes have to the member experience? How will value-based models with incentives for quality and financial performance improve the member experience?

Sharing Ideas on Improving Adoption of Oncology Biosimilars

There are now several FDA-approved biosimilars for oncologic indications, with more in the pipeline to be approved in the next few years. These biosimilars can provide substantial cost savings when used effectively. Many health plans have successfully switched to lower-cost oncology biosimilars while continuing to maintain high quality care for members.

During this networking session, come discuss methods that have worked and not worked to improve biosimilar adoption.
